Today, my girlfriend just came back from Kuala Lumpur after her final exam. I went to pick her up at the airport at about 9pm. After that, we decided to go for dinner as I haven’t taken my dinner but she already ate something at McDonald in LCCT airport at 6 something.
I planned to eat the famous porridge that near the airport. My father told me the place but when we got there, we saw nobody eating porridge and eating noodles instead. So we gave up and went to E-Gate. I took my Nasi Ayam Rendang at Oldtown then went to the Vietnamese restaurant next to it to eat some dessert – Ms. Saigon.
This is the second time we went there. Thanks to Jasmine who recommended this restaurant to me. The first time we went to eat dinner there and it was so expensive @.@ So this time we just went to eat dessert only as I love the Vietnamese Apple Pie so much 😛
There’s something special about this restaurant. There is this waitress (waiter or waitress we were not really sure :-P), which we guess is the boss there. She always tied a very traditions braids, but her face looks more like a male than a female, and her voice was rough too. So we guess that maybe she’s a she-male 😛 The first time we went there, she was so funny. While she were serving customers, she singalong with the songs they played and danced sometimes. The other waiter saw we looking at her and told us that she was very happy.. LOL.. The first time we went there we ordered the mint tea. The taste was weird as it tasted like toothpaste. I don’t really like it but my girlfriend love it. I don’t really remember the main course we ordered, just roughly remember that mine was lemon grass chicken if I’m not mistaken, it was really delicious. I remember the spring rolls were nice too, but not cheap.. 😛
These are the photos we took last time..
This time we went back there just ordered the “Tong Fen” noodles and the Vietnamese Apple Pie. Only cost us about RM13+ ^^
I strongly recommend the Vietnamese Apple Pie.. You guys can go try it next time.. ^^
