Day 1
Hello everybody.. hehe.. I’m back.. long time didn’t update my blog already. it’s growing mushroom and spiderweb everywhere.. phew..
Now I’m going to re-renovate this blog and now started to post a new post 😛
24th March 2009, We, ACO 2 from TARC, were decided to go for a trip with all our classmates before we graduated. The day before we departed, I was told by Jackson who ask me to wake at 2.30am =.= normally that is the time when I go to sleep.. but then Teresa told me it’s 3.30am, so that was little bit better though.. =.= then Teresa came to MU and fetched me and Yong Xuan to Genting Klang cause that is where we suppose to gather.
Then we headed to KL central together with Chee Hwa’s car and Pei Horng’s friend is fetching her and Middleman. Not long after that we reach KL central and took a bus there to LCCT airport. (hmm.. not really good in blogging, boring introduction)
OK then, skip the details, oh ya.. I bought 3 packets of Nougat’s Chocolate at the airport, cost me RM40++ T.T then we went in to the departure gate and waited there.
not long after that we went on the plane. Our seats were separated as you know if you want to choose a seats in air asia you have to pay more.. so.. ok.. then i sat with Pei Horng and Chee Hwa. Chee Hwa was so funny because that was the first time he took plane so he is kind of excited especially when we took off. he said it’s very exciting.. =.= Meanwhile, me and Pei Horng were attracted by something else, which is the view from the sky. it was like heaven. I had never travel by plane in the morning, the clouds and sky were gorgeous.. So I took some photos..
After about 45 minutes, we reach Terengganu airport, and cherlyn and our resort’s bus were there waiting for us, she took bus to Terengganu a day before us, took her 8 hours, pity. There’s our group photo
Our Jackson who told me to wake at 2.30am was so tired and sleep at the back of the bus..
Then we reach the dock after about 30 minutes. We took a really small boat from the dock and change to a bigger, safer, and more comfortable boat there. The sea water was so so dirty. It was brown in color, probably because it’s a swamp area or something like that cause we saw those paya bakau plants.
after about 30-45 minutes(everyone was sleeping), took more than I expected, we reach the Redang Island at 11am! It was so beautiful, the water was so clean. It was totally different with the water back there at the dock, amazing. The boat took a little detour before headed to our resort’s island to send some big plastic bag of vegetables, life jackets, and toilet paper to different islands.
Our resort, Redang Bay
When our feet first touched the sand, it was so soft, it was more like flour than sand. love it.
After we reach the resort, we were told that we were going to snorkeling at 2.30pm. So after we rent our equipments(RM30 for 3 days) we went for a little pre-snorkeling at our resort’s island first. It was amazing, we saw fishes in the water, the water is as clean as swimming pool water except that it’s salty.
Then we headed to our first snorkeling destination, it’s at the other island, I forgot the name of that island, oh.. who cares 😛
Underwater world is really amazing, the corals, fishes, they were everywhere. It was like what we saw on the TV but saw it with our own eyes makes it really amazing and cool. The fishes were everywhere, you can just touch them with your hands, however I wasn’t dare to touch them and try to avoid touching them. Funny thing is, although they’re just swimming right beside you or right underneath you, but they can always avoid touching you, amazing reactions.. lolz..
I rent a water-proof digital camera from the resort(RM30 per day) and took quite a lot of photos..
After the snorkeling, we headed back to our resort’s island and decided to play Volleyball.
However, all of us is volleyball noob so we decided to give up and headed to the more more tea inn gift shop 😛
During the night, we headed to the other side of the beach and went to see the blue sand!
There it is!! It’s really amazing.. I heard this from my friend before, but seeing it with my own eyes really unbelievable, we heard that it’s a coral’s egg, some say that it’s a microorganism.. not really sure which one are true.. I’m the lucky one who always found the blue sand, Cherlyn was trying to find one too but she end up with disappointment and keep on mumble about how lucky I am (don envy har Cherlyn :P)
That we call it a day, that night the stars was so bright as there was not much light pollution.. I always like to see the night sky full of stars.. Hoping to see a meteor but didn’t have luck that night. Before I went to sleep, I notice that both my arms were red! oh man.. Sun burn and it was pain!!
Day 2
On the second day, I woke up about 8am in the morning as we have our second snorkeling activities at 9.30am. Some of my friends were too lazy to wake up and decided not to participate in the snorkeling, it was really a waste because our second destination was even more fantastic than the first one. There were more corals and fishes.. It was really fascinating!! We were also told that we can see baby shark there but we weren’t have luck on that 🙁 here are the photos..
We headed back to our resort after 1 and a half hour, so tired.. So the first thing I do after I took my lunch is sleep!! Sleep until the next session of snorkeling at 2.30pm
The third snorkeling destination was as fantastic as the second one, this time we get to see the clown fish!! NEMO! Saw the corals where Nemo lives in the movie and many clown fishes were swimming in and out but never leave their home, lolz.. Too bad I can’t dive down there to take a clear picture 🙁
After the last snorkeling session, we headed back to our resort and have a new activity.. canoeing!! Although it was hot but still we got to play since we were there isn’t it?
Then, we decided to take some photo shooting during the beautiful dawn at Redang Island..
posing…
Now this was the last day and it’s time to go back home.. That morning I woke up late and almost miss the boat! In the end I forgot to bring back my Giordano brand new belt that cost me RM69.90 T.T so sad..
Anyway, It’s really a nice trip and most of the guys got the “untake-offable” life jacket on our body.. Get sun burn after that.. But still the trip was really memorable and this recorded down as the end of my college life with my classmates..
Special thank to Mr. Middleman Chong Kean Yan who organise this trip, without him we wouldn’t have such wonderful memory.
We back to KL by bus.. A weird bus company called “Adik Beradik” =.=”
However the bus was not bad, seats were ok.. but it took 7+ hours @.@ my backside very pain…
Bye bye Redang..
